Hi all just noticed this morning that my drivers window not closing when shutting the car door. Is there a fuse for this or do I have a bigger problem

There is a reset process:
Get in the car and shut the door
Wind the window all the way down
Continue to hold the down button for 10 seconds
Wind all the way up
Continues to hold the up button for 10 seconds

That might well fix it
If not, batter reset
Check foot wells for damp
If all clear, possibly one of the switches in the door or failed window ECU

Hmm my battery dial is low when idling but I've never had a problem starting and I don't have a tool to read the out put of this. Maybe I should invest in one.

Not at all, or just when you open the doors?

Be careful if they are not clearing the seals when you open the doors. You can break the glass, or worse (oddly) the regulator.

Have you checked your footwells?

Now the key to this is the fact they stopped working when opening. The power source (and the fuse) is different when the doors are open than when they are shut. There must however be a core reason the fuses blew in the first place (probably, it is Italian) and that is the concern here.

My money is on the window ECU. I had exactly the same problem as you. Started as windows not closing when closing doors then went on to windows intermittently working. If you pull carpet up on passenger footwell and then unscrew the cover, its a lime green box. Often fails due to water ingress. There are threads on here, but essentially the air con drain gets clogged as well as water pooling in the panel filter and overflows into that footwell. I had giallo's clean all the drains up when they replaced the ECU and touch wood even after the weekends rain and constant use of air con all is well!
