They do conveniently forget that by the very nature of it being a small island, you’re close to the sea…I’m never sure whether Channel Island cars are a good thing or not. Is 15k miles around Jersey the equivalent of 100,000 miles up and down the M6?
£15,500 on the hammerInteresting one - Saturday 3rd https://www.bidspotter.co.uk/en-gb/...0018/lot-8fdba3bc-6f2a-426e-bbdb-b00700ed6af7
Opening price of five grand. Low mileage, but servicing is, er, ‘interesting’
If those 100, miles arew done on salted roads, yes!I’m never sure whether Channel Island cars are a good thing or not. Is 15k miles around Jersey the equivalent of 100,000 miles up and down the M6?
They have divorces there, no?I’ve just bought something with a fair financial investment on top, otherwise if it stays around the opening bid I may yet be tempted…
My wife will murder me
Sold at the weekend to the first person to call.A good friend is selling an absolutely mint manual one. He is OCD so has spent c10k having it perfected over the last 2 years and now wants a 360. it has forged wheels, Pss9 or 10 dampers, 997 brakes, mild remap (500+ bhp) and lots of leaking rubber replaced (many hours tracking that all down). I think he wants 38k but can confirm if anyone interested on here.

Bit of a bargain 3200 for someone at Matthewsons
There has to be something seriously wrong with it. Why would you sell it at auction for that price when you could get more in a private sale even for a bit of a munter. On the surface of it at that price, yes! But, you could easily spend many times that getting a troublesome car sorted out. My one has bills for over £25k on it from previous owners who had to bring it back from neglect. Buyer Beware!
Not necessarily, to me they aren't the easiest thing to move on when they're mint, auction is an easy way out if you just want it gone. There has to be something seriously wrong with it. Wouldn’t you set a reserve though? Not necessarily, to me they aren't the easiest thing to move on when they're mint, auction is an easy way out if you just want it gone.
