Thanks for the welcome. I have seen that particular one and its stunning. the blue really suits the car. £5k is a huge drop. Do you think it might have been over priced in the first instance? Will keep you posted lon how I get on.

Looks like the owner probably added them later alone with that rear lip spoiler. Is the exhaust a 4.7 one or maybe Larini do you think. Never like their adverts as they don't tell you what you need to know.

You're absolutely right, for me at my level of budget it has to be from a reputable Maserati partner otherwise could end up in a hideous mess. Thanks for the advice, appreciated.

This is a massive help Keano, thanks for the heads up. I've asked the question of a few cars already and will see what gives.

Yes, I would say so....40k seemed too much and now it seems to be priced there or there abouts. This car would be on my shopping list if I was looking at a 4.2 GT.

If you want me to have a look it's only half a mile from me and I go passed there practically every day. Simon has some lovely cars, and 99 times out of 100 they are lovely.

Looks like a standard GTS set of back boxes. Wonder how they have dealt with the valve issue.

Out of touch a bit now but Furlonger always had the reputation for beautifully presented cars.
Other Ferrari specialists felt he was almost anal on attention to detail.
Chances are they still work to that standard.

He does. The garage where they work on their cars is like an operating theatre. It is so clean and tidy, almost OCD like.

He's also a nice bloke, have chatted with him a few times as he drinks in my local.

You know what I didn't even realise it was on and at the weekend I said to my other half we should go to something like that just a shame its when I'm away. Are there any other events on the horizon? Harewood House sometimes have something on the go?

There's the "Italian Car and Motorcycle Extravaganza" also at Newby Hall on the 5th June if you can wait that long ;)

This sounds like it could be a cracking GT then....

Hadn't seen that. I'm around so would be up for it. I'll email the organiser and see what the score is.

They had had it for a few months now at 39995...price drop last wee kiss.

My only concern, and maybe its me being over sensitive is the wood trim. Being only 38 I'm not sure I feel ready for wood but I think the cream contrast is definitely a winner. It is stunning though.

Personally I don't mind the wood as it sort of has a warm feel to it but there a many that wouldn't want it........May be a compromise for you but it has the later wheels which would cost a fortune to add, a 4.7 exhaust which should sound amazing and that is not cheap either.....At 35k it now looks like a very good car for the money from a good dealer and 35k is the starting point so you may get a bit more off.....Must be worth a look....
