Quick question. Has anyone fitted braided hoses on here to a GT or GC? Was toying with idea when brakes up for sorting.....thankfully a little while off yet.

Did it on my QP 2 years ago when the car was 10 years old. Also changed the rotors and EBC yellow, so the braking was totally different/better in every way, but how much was due to the lines??
Anyway a cheap and easy conversion if you know your way around brakes, and IMHO also safer as old rubber lines!

I did look at it, but to be fair they are doing some very good deals on the Goodridge website.

I did talk to them about the different connection types.

I believe Goodridge make these to order so you may as well buy direct. There's another thread somewhere discussing the different types of fittings. Banjo or those retaining the factory fitting. The part code for factory fit is SMS0407 4C. Then two letters for which ever colour you want.

Something I will do in the future, found these on e-bay, they retain the factory hard lines from the calipers, I had the ones with the banjo fittings put on my 4200 by F-Tech, and the bolts supplied for the banjo were too long, but luckily Goodridge were based in plymouth and Tim was able to go and fetch the correct ones, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Goodridg...-Maserati-4200-Grandsport-Spyder/273548538271

Used these all the time on my bikes, but alas, the appear not to do them for GT/GC

Not yet. I’ve got a contact and as soon as I get hold of a rear hose they will have a pair to copy. But I won’t have time until October at the earliest.

On the brake hose fitting front, Goodridge may be reticent to sell the banjo type.

I see F

I see FD do a set

Yes, for $375! I think we can do better than that.

We have been developing a big brake kit for the GTS too, full details shortly, but this will be a lot cheaper than the FD kit too.
