I can get all leather for £500....

I posted a link to an Ebay seller with tech cloth for pennies. It's a £200 job maximum to repair.

Item is a triangle five inch down to three inch which I think would only make a patch rather than the whole base seat...does the material have a weave direction? What is under the tech cloth and is that damaged...even the seller states its repairable but at £500 which i presume is a new base.

Alcantara costs peanuts too. Maybe very cool and MCV looking to use that instead?

I only know of one member who has gone down the retrim route and that was to change the piping. I think it was much more than the cost of a new seat base. Given that the leather is not in good condition as well, your suggestion has some merit but at what cost.

Well I know a dash retrtim in alcantara is only £150 and there are 100,000 colours to choose from.

Worth a thought.

I would say that the tech cloth is hard to match and the chap who looked at the car said the bit is melted so I think I would replace the whole piece for the best match.
