Small consolation that the assailant had to be recovered, but a testament to how well screwed together these Masers are.

Enzo, I look forward to your comments - if you're happy to share them - on how good your insurance company is at getting this sorted quickly and through a reputable Ferrari repairer. I reckon the best recommendation is from someone with experience of getting an insurance company to actually do what it's paid for.

Insurance has been excellent so far Adam,
I am with Chubb, via Locktons the broker...they have called me back exactly when they said they would,
they arranged collection of my car which is now at their authorised repairer, Joe Macari, and have also instructed solicitors to act for me.
So far, absolutely spot on :D

Enz - glad to see it will be back on the road soon.

Frank

Thanks Frank...went to see her today and have a look round Joe Macari's premises as I had not been there before...very nice operation they have, with some serious machinery around!
good news is that my repairs were authorised yesterday and the parts have already been ordered...should be back within 6 weeks :D
