599 has the engine from the Enzo but at a £100k price. 550 a tad cheaper. 456 a lot cheaper. All are fabulous. Or a 365/400/412 as an older classic.

Lots of Aston choices - DB7, DB9, DB11, DBS, V12 Vantage…

Vintage Lambo maybe? Espada, Jarama, maybe even an Islero.

If it were to be a potential daily, I’d go DB11. But as summer toy or investment, it would be one of three Lambos.

Have you seen the Bonhams Zoute sale? The Jarama S in that sale is somewhat alluring

Wow! That is fabulous in every way - inside, outside, engine bay, everything.
Time for the piggy bank to get raided! And by complete chance, I reserved two more spaces at a local car storage place earlier this afternoon!

If I wasn’t feeling like complete shite I’d have suggested a trip to Zoute - concours weekend is something I’d love to go to - but yes, do let us know if you indulge.
Guide price doesn’t seem ridiculous

There is even a classic Lambo specialist local to me but to be honest if I were to pour more money into a classic, I would be going DB6 but that would be out of my league.

Look, Sam is running around in a Strad, with an H pipe.
Is he honestly gong to be pleased with an Aston? Of course not.
He wants excitement, noise, drama… and fizz..
That ain’t gong to be an Aston or a Bentley… is it?
Fcar all the way.
I have both, there is no comparison…
It honestly depends what you are after… my Fcar is such a Ballerina on the road.. incredible how it dances around corners.. sure, the GT is great.. but it’s a pig of a car to make dance.. it’s near impossible…heavy, big, like taking your grandma for a dance… even the Strad is an impossible compared to a 1300 kg 360 with 450 bhp!
So, you need to decide, exactly what you are after!

If I bought a Bentley of any description (other than a vintage one) my wife would divorce me and then I wouldn’t be able to afford to keep it !

What? Even a gold sedanca?
