Not sure that will be in budget anyway
You’d get an F12 in TDF Blue, but you’d be nowhere near an F12 TDF!!! I remember seeing this one at Carrs of Exeter, it was £100 shy of £1m in 2017, but they’ve softened slightly and are now around £900k, madness really.

Currently selling for over USD 1½ million in the US, apparently.

I defy anyone to drive a Ferrari V12 and Aston V12 of the same era on the same day and prefer the Aston. But if wife says no, divorce is considerably more expensive......
Maybe. I dropped my Vantage off for winter hibernation this week, parked it behind a Macca 765LT that had also just been dropped off. It was the Aston that got the comments about what a beautiful car, sounds wonderful etc. Mrs Crud, who had decided to come along for the ride, was pleasantly surprised. There's a lot of love for Astons, and public perception makes the ownership experience far more enjoyable.

@Scaf, a Vanquish would suit you well. Volante or coupe, are you thinking?

Agree, a Touchtronic 3 Vanquish on a 65 plate onwards is beautiful and looking decent value again now after the Covid price spike.

I don't disagree at all. Many Astons are truly stunning to look at and ownership experience and pleasure comes from many different angles. Owning something beautiful is entirely valid. I suspect many of he classics, especially restored to better condition than when they left the factory are disappointing to drive. Not that I am in the market but if I came home in a Mclaren 765LT or any Lambo my wife would refuse to go out in it! Non issue with an Aston! I just think that Ferrari make the very best V12 front engined GTs, whether 550s, F12s, 612s at under 150k. As RG says, the mark 2 Vanquish is now looking very good value well under 100k.

Your comment on your wife’s view on Maclaren / Lambo, add in anything with “ridiculous doors” and she is very aligned to Mrs Scaf.

I have very fond memories of my Aston DB7 vantage volante - a Vanquish or DBS are right up there at the top of my list.

And possibly many more forum wags agree on the topic of our simple minds
Mrs Crud was commenting only last night how little we actually know about each other. I said shite, that's not true. For example, I know that you are great at drawing @Scaf's face on an egg, @conaero struggles with gin (since a diplomatic incident in France) and @Zep is **** at riding a bike. She rolled her eyes.

Women, eh?

You're right, further to this, other nuggets of info are @Andyk is not Welsh @philw696 has a Tory twin and @MarkMas is actually a dyslexic barrowboy from the east end of London...init.

I made the last one up.
