I was recently wih Nareman @ Nuvola with my 35k mile '06. He valued it at £16k. But wasn't interestd in buying it - not that I was selling.

Elliott,
Was that the price he would offer you if he wanted it, or the price he would sell at..?? I would think your car is worth more than £16K, there are higher milers on sale for more than that..!!
Cheers

You could be right Andy, good cars are worth money, but not more than they should be..!!

Agree Robert.....16k trade....Not nice for the owner but a trader is there to make money...A car with that miles shoulf fetch 19k/20k private all day long.

I trust Nareman. We've done deals on a couple of cars and he knows his Maseratis. What is and isn't in demand.

I totally agree that a dealer has to make a profit, without question and if you want to trade a car in for another, it can be an easy way to go rather than trying to sell yours. The dealer has to wait until he sells it to recoupe the cash, fair enough, but we all know of examples where this has been taken to rude extremes, that's what I don't like.
This one with the fault, that could be CATS breaking down and overheating and it's done 92K, if new CATS required then that's big money and on top of the £10.5K for a 2004 92K motor. Now in this instance I think this guy wants too much, but they always do..!! Could be a low cost buy for someone, but those CATS are a worry..??

Install two 200 cell cats and remove the other two. How hard can it be?!
