I've said it before in a couple of other threads, but to try and help clarify things (as there is so much confusion out there about different GranTurismo and GranCabrio variants and spec's etcetra, including main dealers not knowing the differences!)...

(Despite what Wikipedia says) there is no such variant as a Maserati GranTurismo MC SportLine. The 'MC SportLine accessories were (and still are) available to order on the GranTurismo and GranCabrio. Typically cars that have these accessories are advertised as a 'Maserati GranTurismo MC SportLine' as that helps to try and make the car seem like some special variant, which it isn't; nice accessories/options yes, but not a specific variant of GranTurismo/GranCabrio.

Ref, the ebay advert, it's a load of bollo*ks... the MC SportLine accessories were not limited to just 12 cars in each country; in fact the MC SportLine accessory range can still be spec'd on new cars today. Nor is the MC SportLine "the forefather of the MC Stradale". This is a prime example of someone trying to make the car seem like a special variant to help try and get a premium over TSP or to help increase the chances of someone wanting to buy it c/w a 'standard' GranTurismo S.
The car in the advert is a GranTurismo S with various MC SportLine accesories as well as having various other modifications made to it, including the MC Stradale front bumper fitted (as described in the advert). Personally (IMHO) I think they've made a right dog's dinner of the car TBH, and as the seller is talking out their ar*e, I wouldn't trust them either, but hey, that's just me - each to their own I guess.

FWIW, here is the official Maserati brochure details of the MC SportLine accessories:-MC Sport Line.jpg

WRT the 'MC Handling Pack' aka 'Sports Handling Pack'. This is a separate option, and does not have to be had with other MC SportLine options. It was available on the GranTurismo S and is still available today on the GranTurismo Sport. It lowers the ride height by 10mm as it uses the same suspension as the MC Stradale and GranCabrio MC (that don't have Skyhook fitted). (It's why the height of the MC Stradale is 10mm less than the GT / GT S /GT Sport.)

Far as I'm concerned they're all special.
I think so too Adam. Personally I love the GranTurismo's and GranCabrio's styling. They are such awesome cars. And I still think the base GranTurismo looks stunning 7-8 years after it first came out. Just a shame some people with no taste ruin them with tasteless aftermarket 'enhancements' lol.

Exactly why I said above that the car should be put back to standard spec and it would sell sooner as its a low mileage car thats been ruined. The lies don't help it either :)

I'm with you on that one. But it will probably sell (eventually); it just needs someone to be equally delusional and with equally bad taste and to buy it :)
