No it's the same car Im talking about - it was previously advertised on Auto Trader and then taken off and put on to ebay. It has the MC Sportline carbon parts added after market. :)

Confirmation about the remap here - see comments

It looks like a lovely example for someone who is after a modded car but this one was just not for me.

These I think are the sportline model of which only 12 were made.

It is 10mm lower and has a different suspension setup. Plus carbon fibre internal and external.

Well that is what it says on Wikipedia!

I would have been interested. But this particular one has 4 owners which is a bit off putting for me.

Search continues.
Never heard of a limited run of sport line....Apart from in the advert for the black one with the MC Stradale front......No such thing..The sports line kit was available on the options list but never a stand alone model..Thats just the seller trying to get more interest in the car I think...I could be wrong though....

Advertising blurb indeed.....the front bumper was also changed to the newer style and he has the old bumper in the garage. Funny that he said everyone who called to enquire as asked if it has been accident repaired as generally when cars bumpers etc are upgraded its due to it being involved in a prang of some sort.

Read this:

However wikipedia maybe wrong as it is just written by the public.

GranTurismo MC Sport Line (2009–)[edit]

Maserati GranTurismo MC Sport Line
It is a customization programme based on the works on GranTurismo MC Concept. Changes include front and rear carbon-fibre spoilers, carbon fibre mirror housings and door handles, 20 inch wheel rims, carbon fibre interior (steering wheel rim, paddle shifters, instrument panel, dashboard, door panels), stiffer springs, shock absorbers and anti-roll bars with custom Maserati Stability Programme software and 10 mm (0.4 in) lower height than GranTurismo S. The programme was initially offered in GranTurismo S, with the product line expanded to all GranTurismo vehicle and all Maserati vehicles in 2009. Fifteen GranTurismo MC racecars were developed, homologated for the European Cup and National Endurance Series, one of which was taken to be raced by GT motorsport organization Cool Victory in Dubai in January, 2010.[6]

A GranTurismo S with MC Sport Line parts was unveiled in 2008 Bologna Motor Show.[7]

That may well be correct but the car currently on ebay in my link above is certainly not one of those 12 as the seller himself told me that the parts were imported from FD in the USA and fitted to his car....The car on ebay is not being sold by the seller but by a dealer so it is most likely the dealer bullshitting to get a sale ;)

Fair enough. Well not fair (from the seller) but well you know what I mean!

Despite the historic bump, I reckon that car is good value for money for anybody wanting a low mileage GTS.

The mods certainly have devalued that car...will take a while to move on IMHO. Its been on sale since August..he should sell the parts and put it back to factory spec and it will be gone in no time.

It may well be but I have no info on this car. Best to call the seller get the chassis and check with a Maserati dealer. But seriously Cat D do you really want to take the hassle!?

Don't worry I have zero interest in that car. Or any pimped up car.

Whilst I am looking for a good deal I understand you get what you pay for and am not looking to skimp.

I have the correct money and am waiting for the right car.

Best way my friend...these can be very volatile cars if not looked after as intended :)

Never heard about the MC Sportline being lower and different springs etc. Very useful info from Wikipaedia, it's usually correct.
