Pete, lovely car.....Looks ver much like one that was for sale about a ear or so ago. A private sale same colour spec and miles about right now. Think it was up for around 23k....Could be wrong mind you.

Agree is about 3k over priced for a private sale and as you say Pat, GS money..but so few Face Lift 4200's about...its jus ther are also so few GS with decent miles, HID lights and not silver about too.

Very true. Thing is if the clutch, brakes, tyres, recent service history are good then it is not a silly buy for the next few years.

Interestingly enough I tested the water with my '54 plate Gransport (lack of use etc) and had a long conversation with a main dealer.

Car has 37k miles, FMSH, and all of the accessories apart from the Auditorium 200 system - they offered £12k to buy it and expected to shift it at £18k.

I will be holding onto it at that money.

So the '55 plate does seem a little cheeky.
