Thanks for the words of support and encouragement, guys - I might need lots of that in the future but I'm fairly confident that I've got a good one. The previous owner improved the car a lot and I hope to keep that going. It has a few minor issues ( the airbag cover is a bit bubbled ) but nothing more serious is evident. At the same time, I know the journey may not be a smooth one but I'm prepared for that.

Congrats. Knowing Phil it will be ready to go and sorted! Keep your eye open for the Scottish itslian day in May, would be nice to have another 32 there since Allan sold his :(
Whereabouts are you?

In Fife, Greg. Phil has given a lot of guidance so far and pointed out many things that I hadn't considered and in many cases, wasn't aware of.

Not too far from me, and I'm down that way often as I'm originally from Fife.

Back to look at the 32 today and with the sun shining, I had a much better in depth look and I've got to say that it seems even better than I thought it was - yeah, I know, famous last words. As I had said before, the airbag trim needing re-glued is the first thing that catches the eye in the interior but that is an easy fix. I took a few photos but they are phone ones so not the best.20160107_153310.jpg20160218_143100.jpg20160218_143035.jpg20160107_153348.jpg

Looks good. It's got the wrong wheels on it but that's relatively easy to put right.

I'll probably try to pick up a set of original spec wheels in due course but I quite like the way they fill out the arches and money spent improving the car will be spent on other areas.

If you put the early 4200 wheels they are the same as what was on the 3200AC so would work. You could probably swap those wheels and cash for the AC wheels.

Thanks for pointing me there Darren. Other priorities at the moment and I quite like the look of the 4200 wheels.

Looks very nice. I saw a set of wheels recently for £400. It looks good on those though, slightly different.
