3200 not starting

The below link is worthwile reading. Also check fuses and battery isolator in the boot. If still doesn’t start, your battery might have gone bad, even when it still cranks. The 3200 is very sensitive to non-optimal batteries

New Bosch battery fitted today, immobiliser turns off, code light go's off, engine warning light go's off but comes back on, cranks over fine but still no start. Have checked fuses all seem ok.
In three and half years of ownership this is the only issue and seems only to be due to the battery having discharged.

For what it is worth I’ve had issues at various times with starting and might be worth double checking as if it’s happened to my 32 it could be happening to yours.
1. Fuse 1 in box in front of header tank. I think the fault was attributed to one of the relays there so I replaced all three. I think this fuse feeds the ecu
2. Have you got fuel pressure at rail- the fuel cut off switch on the rear left inner wheel arch had failed and you couldn’t reset it.
3. The most bizarre one - the temp sensor on the front of the engine had cracked and if I could get it started would run really erratically until after a mile when I guess engine warmed up and it was then fine for rest of journey. Very difficult location to inspect though.

I'd be looking at the crank sensor.

That could be purely coincidental, I wouldn't spend time on that route. If the engine light is up it has a standing fault, you need to have that read, everything else will be just guess work otherwise.

Get the software downloaded and the two cables mentioned and you should be good.

It's a fiddly set up, but does the job.
