Its a lovely car but I can't see why they don't fit a recon TB for a few hundred quid, MOT it and sell it for £13k

Something does not add up if you ask me!

Agree with above, I think there's more than meets the eye, or as said just fit a new throttle body and be done.

Somthing more odd to this car too.

I am sure a few years ago when I was looking for a 3200 I saw one with a pop-up sat nav unit fitted in the centre vent on the top of the dash. I was younger then and did not know this was not a normal fit...So is that this car as the center vent looks adapted???

PS I did go to their showroom in Sloan Square a few weeks ago to take a peek but the car was at their other place. Given what was in there I can see why they do not want to invest in putting this old girl right.

Sounds like they just want rid, assume the reserve will be what it owes them and if they went through the car and listed all problems that would be another cost on top. Definitely a gamble but at least you'd get the MOT report.

One for the mechanically savvy.....maybe....however, going on recent events it's next stop could well be at a breakers :(

a good 3200 is around 11k......not saying anything less is not good but rarely will you get a bargain, this is a fast car with many costs....better off spedning at the beginning getting it right than owning a dog.....

I enquired over a month ago about this car. They informed me it had failed the MOT due to emissions and was likely the throttle body. They were waiting for the part to come in but were having difficulty get hold of one from Ferrari. Exactly what the guy said. He also said he'd call me back once it was ready. Never did of course. About 2-3 weeks ago I checked up on their site and noticed the price had gone from £9950 to £10,950 so assumed they'd made some repairs and whacked it onto the price. Considering what's been said on the auction makes me wonder what game they were playing putting the price up. That auction shows a completely different side to the car which they cleverly hid on their site, like the lack of handbooks and those marks on the carpets. Looks like water damage to me?

Biddings up to £6490 now.

I'm wondering if they've been bidding it up to create a false reserve. It seems to have hit £6500 pretty quickly.
