Out of interest I looked at Eurospares for a price for Maserati 4200 discs and they were £491 for all four incl VAT. Surprised me as to how little extra it is. Or was I calculating it wrong and is it actually double that?

Glad you said that really Peter. Even though it says '2' on quantity when you roll your mouse over the item number it did not seem to make sense with what I recalled when I priced new brakes.

So Eurospares are £982 for four OEM Maserati discs incl VAT!!!

If I really am saving that much money it really makes me look at keeping my Maser.

So can someone post what four discs, pads (various options?) and handbrake shoes (various options?) costs and also post how many hours a Maser independent would charge to do all of it? Cheers

Shame we can't have a similar saving on clutches!

I bought my hand brake shoes from Eurospares at £32 each as I recall (Oct 10) £131 total I think...

Phoned these guys up..................they either supply Brembos or Mintex in their boxes, depending on supply situation, but not sure if there is a Mintex disc available, so they must be Brembos!!

So people...............result...................£264 for all four..........................would you believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure at all if BBrakes will be able to beat that....but leave it with me!
