Hartwell has protocol in place that says if you deal with a client that has been speaking to another branch then that client should be referred back to the original branch as that was the original point of contact........nuff said about what happened here.

one minute the guy ain't interested and then it sounds like because the first interested party has panicked into it knowing it is a great price maybe? And to be sold to go abroad too?

I know the other member and have been talking to him privately for some time and I don't think he was never interested and just the dealer making sure they had someone in the wings waiting if it did fall through. Bourekoue has been looking for months and had been let down by a few dealers and I don't think once he had spoke to the dealer he was going to let this get away. This is purely a dealer issue not a member.

There were 2 dealers involved here from the same group. One was told I don't want the car......then i believe it was bought through another.

Was holding out (and now will do) for the Alfieri but the price of this was too good to say no to for some Fun driving until it's here.

If its of any interest to you, I've got my eye on a Gallardo. Mine is keeping her info secret until I get my V5, then Maserati UK can unveil what car I really have as the dealer is now convinced they undersold the car and it could be a little rare one.

Probably not for me,the 4.7 was the clincher having had my GT MC shift.
Think I'm gonna hold off for now for the little one to grow up and fit in the tiny rears of the Alfieri.

CHris, I'm intrigued........You're not going to tell us it is the only early shape one with a 4.7 engine ......

If I have read up correctly, it could be the only early shape 4.2 GTS manufactured in 2009 and registered in the UK

It is a possibility, how strong is anyone's guess but I'll have to wait for the V5 which Swansea are taking their time with (+4 weeks). On a side note, does anyone know when the red accents were introduced to the front trident and whether it was only applicable to GTS models or could a Sport GT/Exe model have it spec'ed?

Should have the red accents as it was put on the high performance models....but but on the day they made your car and the box was empty you could have had one without the red accents...have come a across a few GT S without and they should have them....AFter all we are talking about the Italians here...Anything could happen

Haha as a 1/2 Italian, I know what you mean, its all on the day. I do have the trident red accents though but wondering if a non GTS could have it spec'd as an extra?

Don't think I have ever seen it on the option list Chris.....
