That does seem really good value £34k for an 09 GTS - somewhat economical with the description "Silver" which it isn't - do you think there might be a typo ?

Not sure...They are only down the road from me..It's weird that somwe one would put the standard QP wheels on the car though..Doesn't look right without the 20inch Sport GTS wheels.

So here's the story, spoke to a Jag agent last night about the car and got the background.

8.55 This am I phone Hartwell and am told a salesman will call me back.
Just after 9.00 I get a call from salesman who says he has a guy in Cyprus interested that will call him back re the car......sure enough call from Cyprus comes in. I hang up as he will phone me back.
0920 I call Jag after Dick lovett call, guy from Cyprus no longer interested......great I'd like to see the car....explain I'm a former Hartwell Bristol customer......"thats great Mr Watt, we'd like to sell the car to a former customer". We'll hold the car for you and won't sell it, when can you come? Great I'll be there mid-day...... as there is no urgency.

Phone Richard Grace around 1040 for blether on car as I value his expertise.

1200 arrive Hartwell to be told I can't drive the car...it's been sold as a deposit has been taken......WTF!!!! You said you were holding it for me to see by appt!!
Eventually they let me drive it......but its still been sold.

So, I've basically gone f***** berserk and am waiting for a call back having been on phone this pm to sales managers etc who are supposed to be phoning me back......far far from impressed!!!

Yeah it's gorgeous...super colour.....and a bit of a steal!!! Lovely light tan interior with grey piping, Bose, sunroof , aux cable etc etc
Needs a bit of work but apparantly it'll all be done......serviced in Nov 2014 so nothing for 2 years.

Thought I'd hate the wheels but they actually looked ok.
I've now got the GM involved so will know more tomorrow.........................

What a pain! Hope they let you have the car. The chap from Cyprus is Bourekoue on here, thought he'd buy it. All the best with it Wattie, it was never gonna hang around long, it's £8k or so under priced.

I know Bourekoue has been looking for a while........He was interested in Nuvolas one but when he was looking they said it was sold..That was a month ago yet it's still for sale...

Well the ad says the cars is sold so somebody bought it - not surprised it went so quickly at that price

Deplorable, disgusting and dishonest customer service from Hartwell Jaguar Bristol re this matter.
I'm in the process of trying to make an official complaint re the circumstances surrounding this.......but so far they've failed to return my calls, Head Office approach by the end of the week if I don't get some sort of apology and Explaination.

Nothing against another member on here but that stinks. The dealer in question wants a good telling off for that sort of messing around, one minute the guy ain't interested and then it sounds like because the first interested party has panicked into it knowing it is a great price maybe? And to be sold to go abroad too? :(

I cannot believe people buy cars like this without even having seen them and from abroad too so vast are the colours and options etc...

Feel for you Wattie but I wouldn't hold your breath over hearing anything back from the dealer!

Well that sort of deplorable behaviour should at least come with an offer of an "F" Type on loan for a year, how can they still be in business behaving like a back street car sales scammer..??

They will use the " you spoke to salesman A" meanwhile "salesman B sold it" without knowing about your enquiry!!!
