If my car is worth £10k it means non cat d its worth £13k ish working on the 25/30 % theory......show me a 20000 mile car of any age for 13k, there arnt any. I've just given over 20k for my 14000 mile Spyder, which might be a touch expensive, but where can you find another?
These cars are not easy to put a proper value on, they are worth what someone will pay really, but when unrepaired 60k miles salvage is 7k in the trade, any 4200 really should be £10k minimum if its a nice car.
Thanks Loz, I would agree the market is a strange one at the minute, I was involved in the specialist car market for 25 years up until recently, including running Ferrari and Aston Martin dealerships, and there is nothing more certain than opinions count, so many variables.
In fact for the last twelve months I didn't subscribe to glasses guide anymore, so wide of the mark I found it.
Cheaper car than mine here, doesn't say what Cat ( no connection to me)...........
