The 50k is not the sole reserve of masers. In the UK we seem to be far more concerned about mileage of any car than they are in the continent. Mines is sitting at 56 and expect to hit 60 by the end of summer but serviced every year, wants for nothing still better by my thinking than a low mileage garage queen that has only done mot miles for the years.

I initially wanted a GT, then started looking at QPs after a reality check , I was initially put off by the suspension issues on the 4200 at £2k a corner but now non OEM parts are available that's not quite so scary.

I assume as this has been into autoshield twice they would have checked the suspension for cracks as part of the service.

Love that interior colour

78,000 miles and 5 previous owners which would make the new buyer owner no 7 hmmm that may be a bridge too far

If the condition & history are good, the number of owners do not bother me - you find a lot of Maseratis only being owned for 18 months or so before the owner takes a hit and moves onto something else exotic. I don't have a problem with that if they are looked after by all of their keepers

It doesn't bother me that much if I'm keeping the car but like buying a cat car high miles and a lot of owners limits the resale market , not the real Geoff capes has looked at plenty and the MOT history looks OK apart from corroded brake pipes and running bald tyres so maybe this is the one

100% agree....Condition and history.....but even service history on a 10 year old Maserati may not been perfect these days......These cars can tarvel low miles and then not get serviced every year.......As long as the car has lots of receipts for recent years a few gaps aren't an issue........

I really don't see what the number of owners has to do with it at all. I can't even recall looking. Still, just me :)

Rightly or wrongly a lot of owners is perceived as a problem car , now I think about it one every two years isn't that many, when it was a 40k car I suppose it went through a few then.

The service history and not being a member on here suggests he's not been trying to maintain it on the cheap

if a car is well maintained mileage should not an issue and the 4200 engine seems to be strong but definitely mileage will effect price. I definitely prefer a low miles car.

I was surprised to sell mine at asking price in few weeks from advertising on this forum only. Though my car was very nice, low miles and had nothing to hide. Perhaps I should have asked more!

I think with mass market this might be the case but the higher end market is very different. Many people buy a Maserati or a Ferrari to tick a box, keep it for a year or 18 months and then sell it on. It doesn't indicate a problem car it is just the nature of the market at this level.
