I love that colour. It's my favourite Maserati colour. My only concern is the mileage.

Will make some enquiries though.

These cars are like buses!!

Be careful when you remove the wrap.

Mine's now >95k. Mileage really does not seem to be an issue....

The wrap?

I guess my comment regarding the mileage is based upon the fact that the general consensus is that GS's are worthless when they have done 50k.
They use the same engine! :lol2:

The wrap with your name on it :)

With no disrespect to fellow illustrious forum members, the group that thinks all of the coupes (not just the GS) are worthless when they hit 50k can go whistle :)
What *I* was trying to say is that despite this often peddled fallacy, there are plenty cars out there will well over 50k miles that are going absolutely fine. I think Pete has one >100k. Change the oil, change the filters and as long as the water / oil pump stays in there (and that seems to be somewhat of a rare occurence since a spate were reported), then seem to be fine. :)

Completely agree C2 with sentiments as most here would I guess.
Issue is the same folk will pay an extra couple of grand for a 40k miler than save the money on a 80k one because of this perceived issue when it comes to resale.
When and how did this fallacy about 60k cut off arise anyway?
But if the "informed" on here wont buy one what hope is there for the rest of the world?

I've made contact with the owner and all of my questions have been answered satisfactory, its been looked after by Autoshield since 2013. So plus points there.

I may get to look at this at the weekend. However, I've one which I'm hoping to see tomorrow that looks very good indeed.
And it's not the other end of the country! Still, I'm willing to travel for the right car.

To be fair mileage isn't a great issue for me, as I see my first Maser as a stepping stone to others. And certainly not as an investment.

Completely agree. I find myself looking at well "used" cars, rather than low mileage examples. It has been well documented that these cars relish use.

To early for your plate though Mark but nice all the same.

Like others I don't buy into this 50k mileage ceiling but I would say that mine is over that already and I see no reason for it not to continue to rise. I bought it to drive not as an investment.

Not the end of the world. It can stay on retention for up to ten years.

As the cars get older the mileage will increase and hopefully this rubbish about 50k miles will become a distant memory. It's interesting that nobody (except Bendy) writes off the value of a 3200 over 50k miles! Cue Phil to tell us it's a better car!!
