    What price LHD???

Afternoon all - I've been a bit quiet for one reason and another but I'm still keeping an eye on all matters Trident from time to time - nice to see so many familiar names still here and loads of newer ones!! On to more important matters I might shortly have the need to change some of the...

Is it me? Dealers posting phantom cars...

Now call me old fashioned but I expect if I see a car advertised that it does actually exist. Particularly if that car is for sale via a nationwide chain of prestige car showrooms with a massive stock to choose from. But no, it seems that cars are invented just to get you to call, before...

    Next car quandary

Sadly I don't think I can make a Maser fit my bill, I have up to about £20k and need something smart but business-like too (no bling) ideally with 5 seats, dog space a bonus but not essential, capable of 30 mpg plus as I am doing 20k plus a year at the moment and even my man-maths is struggling...

    Daily Maser fix!

Most nights at 10pm I watch the BBC news and when they switch to the local nonsense the opening credits to "Points West" appears to feature the delicate rump of a 4200 crawling through Bristol for a split second. I probably shouldn't admit to this level of nerdery! Well if I can't have one...

    01 3200 on GS alloys

Evening all, I Always wondered how good this would look and I have to say I like the wheels on a 3200, I also like the sound of 35k miles a fresh belt service and under £10k!! Can't work out how to paste the link on this iPad thing but its on eBay!

Is it just me, or is the 360 beginning to look interesting?

Having always subscribed to the school of thought that a 360 Modena was too big for a sportscar (i.e. not a supercar) I find the shape has aged well, and particularly in my favourite colour. Plus - they built loads of them, and built them pretty well, so supply is strong and depreciation...

    Bargain - somebody stop me!!!

Luckily Mrs P is in the same room so there's no chance... but a black Testarossa for £23k!!!! Smoke tastic You might think I'm nuts but I can remember the chiaro blue Boxer that was recently in Classic and Sportscar in similar condition (worse actually - no mot) going for £30k about 12...

    Light damage 4200

Should be easy enough to fix but I'm thinking this car is possibly a dog - I may be wrong but it looks to be a non-original colour thickly applied. I would need to whip out the tints and change the back lights let alone paint the wheels. I guess if you could throw a door on it and paint it...

Thieving robbing shytes, business owners beware !!!

Well I thought I'd seen most scams and could recognise one coming but the latest is very smart indeed, seems to have been doing the rounds for a while but I'll mention it here in case any of you run your own business. You get a phone call talking about advertising on a wall chart/desk diary...

bit of excitement at the office

was busy working ******* Tuesday am and thought the BiB were a bit busy in the area in their chopper, then it went quiet and ten minutes later it sounded like the chopper came back, loads of sirens, and about 15 mins later it was back again. Turns out a chap put his Gazelle in to the trees...

    Mexico...again

I know I keep harping on about these as undervalued, **** this one doesn't even have a price, but I saw this and immediately did an organ check to see which are superfluous! Yum. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C137090/

Italian engineering pt 2 - JTD problem ALERT!!!

So having dropped in the 159 to get a service and the sawn through A/C pipes looked at we have a new problem!!! On the JTD the intake butterflies are opened by a linkage using a cup and ball socket to locate it. The ball has broken off the end butterfly and as a result the linkage has fallen...

    Italian engineering!!!!

Hopped in to my 159 at lunchtime having lauded the build quality on here to be met with billowing vapour as the contents of the A/C system tried to poison me. Seems the link arm for the wiper blades has been gradually sawing away at an ally a/c pipe which finaly cried "enough!!" Grrrrr...
