Things is it wasn’t this noticeable before - only recently it came to my attention - and I’m hyper sensitive to any changes in my car ($$$ in my eyes!)
Could be the case, yes! And I’m fully expecting it as the next expense, so no need to be gentle with me :)
In fact I’m surprised it’s lasted this long since I purchased the car 4+ years ago.
Yeah it’s me :)
Wheel bolts all feel tight. Did a video this morning (link below). It’s not as bad today but you can still hear the clunk a couple of times in reverse. Warmer day today so maybe weather has an effect?

Last service was done by you guys actually. When I brought it in for the underbody rust seal job. I’m from Plymouth though, so a bit of a trek! I’ll give you or Ashley a call on Monday? Thinking might just have to take her to Carrs Ferrari in Exeter this time though (even that’s an hour away and...
Hard to say. I know sound can “travel” but it certainly feels and sounds like it’s right in front of me, low down behind the steering wheel. I will try next time I drive with the window open - maybe that will help me pinpoint it more.
Hi - thanks for replying.
It’s a 2009 MC Shift. It wasn’t this noticeable until recently though, so feels like something has changed there. Quite a heavy feeling release and knock of something.
Another thing I sometimes get (may be related) is that if I am slowly driving forwards, down a small...
Looking for some advice. I searched all around and can’t find anything similar but not really sure what words to use to describe or search for it!
When I am going slow in reverse (very small amount of throttle) leaving my parking spot, then come off throttle, seems like as the clutch disengages...
I parked up with full left steering lock at supermarket today and on my return noticed that visually the wheel is leaning out a lot. The inner side of tyre is actually off the ground.
Is this wrong or OK? I have quite recently had all the alignments done. Photos attached.
Yes it could be related also. I did charge it recently but not had to fill up since, so maybe something goes out of synch within the brain since I last pressed the fuel ‘open’ button if the voltage had dropped too low? Locking the car after pressing the open button resets it?
Anyway, a nice man...
This just happened to me. Might not be same solution but thought I’d leave this comment here in case it saves anyone a LOT of trouble!
All I had to do was lock and unlock the car again (just normally with the remote key buttons) and it worked again!
