The wife actually took photo of back of his car, it was only one of those M series X5 things, the really quick one, thinking about it, if he did decide to make up some damage, the only place my door could strike is the door protector strip, so any other would be easily proved discountable...

And of course, he'd have to prove there was no damage there before...

I have most,y been looking at Aston Martins and McLaren and Lambos today. Far better than sitting in front of a TV watching a ball be chased around a field.

Another thing...I don't get this coming home thing...yes I remeber that shockinly bad song but surely if footballs coming home it means you've been knocked out.

I realise some of you don’t like football, but you are naive if you think it’s purely about football, it’s more than that...

It’s in the blood or it isn’t. I was a Lever Ender at Burnden at the age of 9, my dad was a 13 yo at the Burnden Park disaster in 1946, 33 dead, he told me the bodies were laid on the track round the pitch within feet of him, their faces covered by their coats.

These things resonate...

Lovely cars, but I can't say I like the wheels on the silver one, they look like flowers.

It is "only a game" but it represents so much more, belief, hope, belonging, togetherness, pride, to name but a few, I'm a bit odd tho, I will support any British team/person in any competition.

I love Russia, Russian language, people and literature (but not Putin) so this one has been a bit special for me.

Could say a Maserati, Ferrari etc is 'only a car'.........

That’s true enough Dave.

I stopped watching after the John Terry mess in South Africa. Too many overpaid people playing for themselves and not giving too hoots about the shirt, the badge, and what it represents.

Nice cars Andy. Spent the afternoon out in one of ours in the sun. Was a great way to spend the afternoon.

II get that. Though I’ve been to Russia many times for work (though only ever Moscow), it’s never been without incident or adventure. I’ve never met a Russian I especially dislike, though a few with corruption seaping through every pore and doubtless a few spots should of blood on their hands, but collectively the country troubles me. A fierce Russian patriotism and a yearning to reestablish the Soviet Empire is a worry.

Still, they seem to be managing the footie contest very well!
