X-OST Maranello Valved Mufflers

Thoughts?

This car has the stock secondary cats, US-spec OEM GS X-pipe, and the X-OST valved mufflers.

Video starts with valves closed with some blips, then you get the full monty treatment!

Just spoke with Mimo at X-OST in Maranello. Very nice chap.

Mufflers w/ valves is €1,800 and w/o is €1,350.

Valves connect to stock setup (i.e. plug and play).

His brother was head of production at Tubi for 12 years before they started X-OST.

I asked if we could use his logo to be a sponsor on the forum, and he said he would be delighted.

I agree with the valves open its sounds good , but closed it sounds like a tinny clanky diesel Not for me im afraid

Here are our friends in the US doing a comparison X-OST vs. Larini

Unfortunately it is apples and oranges, since the X-OST equipped car is a GS Spyder (stock cats, factory X-pipe, and X-OST valved mufflers) vs. Larini equipped car is a Coupe (Larini sports cats, Larini H-pipe (sports centre section), and Larini valved mufflers).

Once we put X-OST up on the site, I can ask for a Sportsmaserati discount, which I spoke to the owners of X-OST Maranello about in principle and they were enthusiastic.
