Hi there,
Newbie here. I am very seriously thinking about buying a QPV (own a 760Li at present) and have done a bit of reading. From the couple of guides I've read, it seems that going for the QP with the ZF auto box is almost essential. I therefore wondered if any of you nice people could help me with the following:
1. What year was the new ZF box introduced with Quattroportes? I've read conflicting information, one 2006, one 2008.
2. This might sound daft but is there any obvious way to tell if a particular car has the ZF box?! I.e. by model or year or something else. Looking on Autotrader it's not immediately obvious to a newbie. I can see differences in photos of the gearstick / paddles between cars around the 2008 mark but don't know what I should be looking for.
Finally, is anyone on these forums selling a nice example I should be aware of?
Hope this OK and would be grateful for your expertise.
