Winter weather - low battery

Hi,

My car as been in my garage over the cold spell, I just started it, and it struggled a little to start.

I have an optimate battery conditioner for my bike.... What do you guys use for your Maserati?

Is it safe to connect a battery charge/ conditioner?

You can charge it as long as you isolate it first and leave the boot open to vent any fumes

Ok - you isolate by flicking the switch by the battery is that correct?

there is a recomendation on here but I cant recall the make...have to do a search for a battery conditioner

ctek are very good...I have used an xs7000 for a few year now.
they start at about £43 for a 3600 (or 3.6) which are just as good,
in fact I have been thinking of getting a second one for a while now.

This is actually the old model, if you order it you get the newer improved model sent at no extra charge.

TBH at that price I wish I had bought two!

Peter if you only use the car once a week or less like I do just turn off the battery at the isolator every time you put the car away that way you don't need to buy anything.....dont forget to leave the boot open slightly or else you will need to open it with your key
