A full battery re-set may cure these little niggles
Is that in the manual? If not, could you point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.

Auto wipers are rubbish. They all are.
What's wrong with the boot? They key or the buttons?

Disconnect it for 30 minutes is all. When you turn it back on you should leave ignition on and not touch anything (or start) for about 3 minutes. Then ignition off and away you go.
NB I *really* doubt this will help with the auto wiper. Still interested to know what issues you're having with the boot. There are a number of known issues, which also won't get fixed by this

Inside button works fine, key occasionally and button on the bootlid never. I found a thread suggesting the plastic cover for the microswitch may be the problem, so I'll look at that when I have time.
