I left mine in NZ in September and apart from a bit of freelance work in December and early Jan don't seem to be much worse off even here in France.

I resigned in December and they are making me work my 3 month notice to the end... Bored bored bored... I'm bored of this BS!!!!

No leave, no notice I’m out (it’s been coming a while so we decided it’s best to hard brexit lol) note to self, don’t get involved in family businesses !
Might go flying instead, hey ho let’s see where it goes.

I work for a family business but I'm family so maybe different although it's hard working with your 72 year old deaf as a post father :D:D:D

63yr in-law who won’t go lol. I’m already a LTD company so shouldn’t be too much of a transition if I decide to continue this route.

I concur that family businesses are hard work....learnt that lesson 30 years ago!

In fact many businesses involving others can often be troublesome. It is why I prefer being on my own more these days.

I find it hard enough to work with a business partner (for one of my companies) after 7 years on my own, could never work with a family member.

What will you be doing @Oliver6796 ?
