Why can't Maserati do the simple stuff?

I wonder would Billy of Ride on Cars have any inside information on the real Alfieri arrival date?
Hopefully Billy's warranty claims don't have to be approved from Italy.
Billy's ability to 'build the cars while you wait' would seem to suggest that he's done the JIT course, passed with flying colours and could teach Maserati's Head of Customer Service a thing or two about how to keep your customers sweet :p

Have first hand experience of the military "JIT" supply system, so much so, that even before I deployed on Op Granby (1st Gulf) I spent my own cash on extra gear that "Will be issued in Theatre" - Yep - It never got issued......

Alfa Romeo have recently/are moving their U.K. parts warehouse and changing their delivery firm, according to a post on Alfaowner. I don't know if Maserati/Fiat/Ferrari spares are part of the same plan (it would make sense from a business POV) but there are serious delays in Alfa parts. As for Italy, most of continental Europe take longer Christmas holidays. Those two factors combined would go a long way to explaining things.

I have read this too, however tyres for a Levante wont be coming from Italy.
The issue with mine was the go ahead to replace the brakes under warranty. Once the decision was made it was fairly quick. They flew them in from Italy though, as the dealer stated they had arrived at East Midlands airport. In total it was 14 days to replace the front discs and pads.

I don't think this is true. I can't speak for Italy but I know in France all businesses are open as usual on the 26th Dec. It's Ireland and the UK which close for two weeks over Christmas.

Why should Maserati be responsible for tyre stocks? Don't really follow to be honest.

On another note:

Just had the Giulia in to replace a cabin blower fan, all sorted inside of two days, good service.

It's the first thing that's gone wrong in 11,000 miles and it's been sorted quickly so cant really complain.
