Hang on.
It’s about having as much fun as you can......not what will be less expensive.
If you wanna avoid depreciation, I suggest you pm me. ;) Especially with your European plans.

If you wanna have lots of fun then wait until after the 31st Oct and buy a decent 4.7 Qp GTs or Granturismo Mc.

Ignore any other advice from this post onwards.
Do you think post Oct 31st supercar prices will go up or down?

Agreed, it is not helping the OP one iota. But I do agree with Jon, probably an Stradale, low miles GS, Grancab and outside chance, Spyder would be my stab.
A lot also depends on your requirements and driving aspirations.
His budget is 28k Dave-so the choice is a **** GTs or a GS. It’s fairly obvious which one to go for.

Mmmnnnn £25-28k to spend!
You’re not helping either Dw.

Oh dear, I'd assumed.......Jessica. lol.....yep, a good GS is the one, all day long, crouched behind sofa for fear of hurling rocks

Yeah but that doesn’t mean it’s not gonna be a money pit.
Absolutely no guarantee with any car, my mates brand new Jag XF R Sport thing needed a new wiring loom, less than 1000 miles....... eyewatering expensive if it had been 1 day beyond his warranty period.
As with anything, get an inspection, no guarantee it wont go bang next day tho....

I along with most on here found that maintenance countered the lack of depreciation... If you bought a German v8 you would spend less on maintenance and more on depreciation.
Buy as Maserati because you want one, which ever you choose (GS, GT MC or Quattroporte GTS) you will have a stunning car that is an event to drive every time.
Test drive all of them because they all have different characters and choose your weapon after.

Hi Jess

Ignore Wattie - he’s like a friendly Australian Troll who we allow to stick around because he’s occasionally funny. However, his knowledge of the UK car market is seriously outdated, and he‘s obsessed with Brexit and the price of Gold.

I think the GS will depreciate less than the Granturismo. There are fewer of them. I also think (having owned both) that the GS is more fun to drive...

“Obsessed with the price of gold”, bit disappointed that I’m such a shrinking violet to suggest

Clearly I was wrong, just see above.

You shouldn’t be buying a Maserati on a budget.
Full stop, or should I say
Fool stop.
Why don’t you recommend that black Gs, talked about here on Multiple occasions then. Very cheap.

You really seem to have anger issues Pal. Relax, and get over yourself it's a Friday. It's not my fault you have lost the plot buddy ! Calling people fools doesn't make you big or clever !

Don’t remember calling you a fool and I certainly haven’t lost the plot. I said you”re a fool if you think Maseratis are cars to buy on a budget. Wasn’t aimed at you in particular was it?
I Certainly don’t have anger issues but don’t concern yourself Mavster, you can buy a new Stardale if you fancy one for £25-28k

Wattie, your original comment was in jest but now you are trolling a bit... maybe take a step back and do whatever you do to chill out?

They all

they all are. The OP should know it’s stupid to get a Maserati and hope it holds its value and won’t cost money. It won’t hold its value and it will cost money. More money than other more sensible cars. But it will be fun and it’s worth it for petrol heads
