Hi lads now down in the smoke or should I say mist for a week and have a problem with my wifes 4x4 pulling to the right under braking.
Anyone know of a good alingment place I should use before sending it in to a main dealer at £125.00 p hour for investigation.

Cheers

Peter,

Can't help with North London, but in the absence of someone that knows.....
Have a look at http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/.
That will give you people in the area with the right kit.

I had a full 4 wheel alignment on the 3200 done at the local Merityre - full Hunter rig, excellent service and all for £75.
(They don't stock the shims for the 3200 but played around with all the existing shims to get it right)

Cheers

Depending on where you are Peter I can recommend Blackboots in Chesham, Bucks which is North West of London and close to J18 of the M25. They recently checked and adjusted the alignment of everything on my Alfa GT on their Hunter machine (wouldn't bother with anything else now!) and with a little fine tuning to proper specs transformed the handling and eliminated the tramlining. If they're too far away then look for somebody with a Hunter machine as this should show where the issues are immediately. The cost of my check and adjustment? £65+VAT for the whole job!

XC 90 Volvo It's my wife's before you say anything..........................................

But it's been a great car 90k and still going strong won't change it until they make a major face lift or model change.

Well Guy could not fit me in as I was on a short time scale! Nice Guys though.

Back in Scotland now will try and get it looked at in the morning but it's Sunday so may have to leave it to next week.

Thanks for the pointer Maf
