I don't believe in ever selling cars but sometimes credit control insists. That said I would have a dozen cars by now without this control mechanism.

I don't think it's credentials that are in question...it's just that the lack of stamps at a specialists or main dealer count against these cars - it's what the market values for any car, but more so this type of car. Your buyer can meet you and understand that you've looked after it, but to the next owner after him it's just a gap in the history. Having said that, how long have you owned it...18 months? If so, not a particularly long gap anyway - and given its mileage, someone is just going to be paying a low-end price.... and get a lot of car for the money.

That was my point as well Phil, your credentials are not in question on here, but as a future buyer of that car, it's missing a service and that service is missing at ultra-high miles (the the type of car). Your insistence it has been done isn't good enough for a stranger, certainly not for the buyer after next. BUT there are tons of 911s kicking around at 120-150k miles and they still sell well, just at the bottom end. Maserati's reputation is far better than it used to be, just need a savvy enthusiast buyer to take a bite and get a great car for the money. If you absolutely have to sell, it's going to have to start with a '9'.

I would be thinking of around £10K and be prepared to drop a little if you have to.
