After seeing all the Masers at the hotel and speaking to everyone its amazed me how many different models there are in the 4200/3200 range. So is there anywhere that lists the modern cars and the derivatives, this is what i have and confused if some are the same car just with a different name.

Having not owned one i dont know but im getting tempted the metallic blue GS LE at Richard Grace.

for example: Grinzz's car seems to be different in slight ways to the others such as grills etc??

3200
3200GT
3200 Assetto Corsa
4200
4200 Cambio Corsa (presume this is the paddle shift version)
4200 GT
Gransport
4200 90th anniversary
Gransport LE
Gransport MC Victory
Spyder
Trofeo

That's about it, 4200's are either GT (manual) or cambiocorsa (paddles). They also did an anniversary edition of the 4200 which got bling chrome side vents, door handles and contrast stitching on the seats. There's also the Gransport Spyder which are exceedingly rare, I believe there's 9 in the UK. If you're interested in the Gransport I have for sale I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed, give me a call if you want any more information on it.
Maserati never make it easy, they tend to make small changes to the models rather than one straightforward face lift. I am fully aware of what's what, it'd be my specialist subject on Mastermind! I'm happy to talk you through whether you are or aren't calling about the Gransport.

If its the one wearing G5 PRT, you could do worse! Lovely looking example

There's plenty of nuances on the Maseratis, including the grill - you could have black, silver, chrome.....and I'm sure there were others too.

Thanks a lot, im just making my mind up whats next -its either a dedicated track car or another maser (if i get it past the mrs that is) The blue one you have is an amazing colour though. Ill prob give you a buzz in the new year as im away from next week on hols.

If i could get both i.e. trofeo version that would be ideal but i think they may be a tad expensive. Fresh from the christmas bash i did have a look at an ex BTCC 156 yesterday but its in pieces

The Trofeo version is something I've never seen but AndyK knows more about them, sure he'll be along soon. I'll look forward to speaking to you in the New Year.

You could also order the Vintage Pack, which gave front wing vents amongst other embelishments.

3200
3200GT
3200 Assetto Corsa

The standard, manual 3200 is called "3200GT". There is also an automatic version called the 3200GTA. The Assetto Corsa was available in both manual and automatic.

The list is therefore as follows:
3200GT(A)
3200GT(A) Assetto Corsa

That was the anniversary one I mentioned, I'm pretty sure it wasn't an add-on vintage pack, it was a vintage spec car built for the 90th anniversary. Chrome vents, door handles etc.

Stand corrected, learning all the time. Thanks :)

Maserati did for a short time produce Maserati 3200GT Trofeo's, and were used for cup-style racing. Some of these were known as "Trofeo lights" and primarily raced in FIA GT3.

4200 Trofeo
The Maserati Trofeo is a racing version of the Coupé that was introduced in 2003. It utilizes the stock engine that provides 420 PS (309 kW; 414 hp) due to a revised engine mapping and a modified free-flowing exhaust that uses a baffle-free muffler. Vehicle weight was reduced by 550 pounds (249.5 kg) as a result of many stock components being stripped out: soundproofing, air conditioning, and the leather interior were left out, with the regular seats being replaced by racing seats. Carbon-fiber doors and bonnet replace the street car's steel components, and plexiglass replaces the side window glass. The result is a zero to 60 miles per hour (97 km/h) time of 4.0 seconds. A Trofeo racing series was organized for enthusiasts, with a per-race rental charge of about $20,000.
