Think this has been posted before.....think it was Dicky.....
looks like a nice repair, not sure what your problem is. If they declare its been repaired I dont see the issue, sure you need to be careful and make sure all the issues have been dealt with but no reason why it cant be a good car, and it will be cheaper because of it, you get what you pay for.

I think the point is that the advert does not declare it has been repaired.
Lots of cars are involved in accidents and then sold on without it being declared. The damage in the pics doesn't shout write off to me and if repaired appropriately, what's the problem?
I think it depends on the price point. If I was buying a low mileage £50k+ car I would not be happy. Did you ask when you bought your's last year?
Yep I think that is the thing, looking for signs of paint etc.Nope. I checked for repairs (seams, overspray etc.) but even if I had asked the the main dealer may not have known or would invariably have said "not to our knowledge".
Buyer beware.
Possibly bumper and cill, door and rear qtr damage too. Rear wheel looks like it is angled too but may be pic. Agree though should have been a simple fix if front suspension/arms etc OK. Jit may have needed a pull on that corner.how can it be an unrecorded cat S if it was never recorded
There's no way that should ever be a write off, it looks like it needs a wing, suspension parts and possibly a wheel & tyre.
Nobody fixes anything these days
If you read the original thread you will see the text conversation I had with the seller, very disingenuous and misleading and clear he knew about the accident and repairs but was not going to tell me.Lots of cars are involved in accidents and then sold on without it being declared. A bit daft when its so easy to find out if its been a write off. there's always one.If you read the original thread you will see the text conversation I had with the seller, very disingenuous and misleading and clear he knew about the accident and repairs but was not going to tell me.
