Hi all,
I am new to your forum & also new to Maserati ownership, I have recently taken ownership of an early 1994 Ghibli 2, 2.8 Auto.
The old girl is in need of a little TLC. one problem (all be it probably one of the more minor ones) is the two front fog lamps are missing. So far my hunting has come up blank so thought I would post on here to see if anyone can help.

Thank you in advance.
Cheers Adam

Hi Adam. Welcome to the forum. I was just about to suggest the same as Mike. Also try Mcgrath Maserati as they break a few cars as do Eurospares who also may be able to source them new. The fog lights are common to all Ghibli 2. Out of interest is your car the black one from France? Where do you live as I am at the latter end of an early Ghibli rolling restoration and may be able to offer some advice based on the experiences of my car

Thank you all for your replies, arfa, mine too will be a rolling restoration, so any help and advice will be greatly received. I live in Somerset. If mine turns out as good as yours looks ill be happy.
Yes this is the car that was advertised in France. I flew into Bordeaux and bought the car 'blind' then drove it (with out it missing a beat) 600+ miles to Strausbourg where I met up with some friends to bring back the rest of the journey on a trailer.
Booked in for a uk MOT on Monday. Fingers crossed!
Thanks Mike I will give them a call tomorrow. did try euro parts today but no joy. I guess the fog light would have been fitted to other cars of the same period?

I may be wrong but as far as I am aware the only other car fitted with those fog lights was the Lancia Thema series 1&2 which is probably as rare as a Ghibli.

Dave Askew is probably your best bet.

Sent you a PM

You could also consider a small mod that takes the fog lights away and replaces them with grills for better air flow to engine or breaks. The Lancia Delta Intergrales Evo has this all over it's front end to help the turbos breath and cool.

If I continue to draw a blank, this cold well be an option.

That puts pay to that idea then, I was hoping the were fitted to a rover or something!
Thanks for the reply.

Another option would be to fit a round fish eye fog light, and mask the space around, similar to the main lamps in the picture.

Hi all, to date my search has drawn a complete blank!
Thought I would wake this thread up again just incase any have surfaced over the past few months?
Cheers

Hi Ewan, I have tried McGrath, they have been most help full with sourcing other bits and bobs, as have euro spares. However my enquirers about fog lights were met with laughter...I know how the poor bloke on the yellow pages felt now... J R Hartley.
I'm not sure I have spoken with Emblem yet, I'm sure I must have at some point but I will try again.

Dave, unfortunately the items are missing from my car so I don't have one to check manufacture or part numbers, Dickyb has posted a good picture earlier in the thread.

I reuse to give up, there must be a set collecting dust somewhere in the world?!

Thank you both for your replies.

Have you tried posting on Enrico's page?

Lots of people search for unusual parts there.
