Variable cam's trouble

Hi,

I was driving with my car in the french country, using the great top end power of this crazy engine.

After one hour ride I was feeling less power on the top end, as my clutch is limit I was thinking that I've kill it, even in sport mode the shifting gear is very smoth and now it looks very smooth.

Does anybody can let me know if you've the same feeling when clutch is near the end, but it looks not sliding. Can it be the variable cams not working.

How can I control the cam's working well?

Hi SK78.....can you give some more detail? Doesn't sound like clutch......no lights on dash board?

Not clear about gear change being smooth?!

Hi,

It can be the clutch as the gear seems not to be very quick engage and with a small sliding , but when I pump up the right pedal doesn't seems to slid,befoer when the gear was engage you feel it strong and quicker, no light on the dashboard.... May be during high rpm the cluch is sliding a lttle and give me the impression that there is less power....

I wanted to know if you guys have the same feeling when the clutch starting to be dead..
