Ridiculous prices over here to start with FC so it’s a non starter.
I was simply intrigued to go online (Uk) and see what the score was.....figures of £40 Pm for an Aston are intriguing....

£40 monthly, you got offered I think, Iain, right? On a cheaper Vantage, granted.

£39.60 and it went up to £250 if you put the £9000 titanium exhaust system on !!

No links will be Avaialable online. Often needs to be up close and personal, close to doing a deal and a little bit of persistence. The online calculators are a joke with high aprs and low balloons. I am getting tired of the antics of dealers over the phone even if it’s clear you are well versed with the process and have owned several high value cars. I hung up mid conversation yesterday after explaining to a dealer to cut to the chase with a quote. It was the old ‘great News sir! I have spoken with our business manager and I have managed to get it down to...xxxx ( treble the monthlies I am paying at the moment on a similar value car). Then he is surprised when I don’t answer the callback

I have an idea after living in Australia for a year. It’s brutal! There is a huge luxury car tax isn’t there wattie? Even the ultra rich guys I was working with had M3s and R8s. I didnt see a Ferrari when I was in Melbourne

Totally ridiculous here.
Funnily enough within 3km of me there’s been a Bentley, Maserati and Ferrari dealer open up within last 6 months (Aston already here).....they must be more optimistic of the Oz economy than I am.
Given the ridiculous car prices and that motorway speeds are 110km max - there are cameras everywhere in town u gotta have very deep pockets to buy something out of the ordinary.
I slipped up. Should’ve bought an exotic in the Uk, owned for a year, and bought it with me. That said until recently there was no-one to look after it!
