Was sent this today.....always fancied one but never ever got around to it.

My God that's a lot of quality car for the money- quick look on Autotrader shows loads under £30k too.
Wow there are some fabulous cars available nowadays at some very reasonable prices.

Because of a new model or all V8's taking a bath ? Brexit or just seasonal adjustment ?

If we decide on Brexit and spring 2020 may push them backup. Great time to buy now, I agree.

Who knows but it’s a cracking time to pick up a “dream car” for a very reasonable price. That Audi has 20k of extras and is only 32k before haggling!
I’d have something like that as a keeper in a heartbeat.

When you said V8 bargains I though you meant something for around 5k to 8k not 30k plus.....Most fast Audi's I've driven have been mighty quick, very competent, beautifully build but very sterile. That does look nice mind you.

I guess I look at what they cost new and at what you get for that sort of money, new, nowadays. Plus the RS4s have a terrific rep- this is super practical too.
I agree on the sterile feeling by the way, but I’m at the stage where that would not bother me. My current car’s like that but I do like it.

No agree if it's a daily drive you can't go far wrong. Now the best V8 bargain for me is a BMW 645ci....I had one 4years ago and paid 6.5k for it......It was quick and very comfortable. Yes some will hate the styling but you can get a good one for 5k.....All that V8 for 5k.

That is mental money for a car like that- I wasn’t aware you could pick them up for that!!!

I couldn't go fast Audi Avant unless it was a family car or daily practical driver and even then I'm not sure I could. Pretty dull really.

Much better ways to get some nice V8's. I have been trying to buy them all

That **** though.
If it wasn't for the rump would have bought an M6.
Agree about the sterile Audi though, was at a steep tight T junction in my M140i yesterday in the wet, lifted the clutch to pull out and didn't move. Then realised my rear wheel(s) were spinning. Need a LSD!!

Agreed and very competent. Just a little dull and life less. Massively quick and competent though. I tend to be looking for something less capable and less powerful often now to make things a bit more interesting. Most modern stuff has become too good and too quick to enjoy.

RS4 takes commitment to own. Maserati levels of commitment.
Poor parts supply, ‘black lung’, inherent faults...

...still rather excellent though.

And they don’t make the full horsepower without a decarbon session and a remap...

Sounds like you know what the score is.
