Reads ok but so do most Maserati reviews so no news there.

Spec seems better than the Ghibli but no idea why they don't ditch the Ghibli/QPVI gear lever and the diesel seems to need the second turbo. Where is the latter BTW as it was talked about last year and everyone else has a twin turbo diesel now with 20% more power?

I hear that the Levantes are already late reaching the dealers though but hopefully it's more a case of demand outstripping the supply following all of the positive reviews. Look forward to trying one out when there's a demonstrator available

The Twin Turbo will come later...they need something to sell you a second one and the TT will be it.

Understand that and they have a track record - if I had bought a new 4.2 GranTurismo when they came out then I would have been a tad annoyed at how soon the 4.7 appeared. The thing is with other brands you seem to manage to get a heads up of whats coming and can wait if it suits but with Maserati it's just a big black hole of (no) information.

I'm wondering about when my GranTurismo goes as I've had it over five years but I have no idea of what to expect and when. I'm tempted by the new RS5 Coupe for a while or may just sit it out for the new Maserati 4 seater coupe......but when?

Maserati has a history of struggling to know when the first cars will arrive after any product launch. Strong demand does not influence when the first cars are due unless the factory is busy building cars for another market. I think they fail to understand the importance of honouring market on sale dates as markets can be very fickle especially for things like the next new SUV as they are as much a fashion statement as anything else.

PS They do exist as I saw a UK registered one in Oxfordshire a month ago.

This is true but all makers are guilty of this. My dad is getting a new Renault Scenic, and they don't know when it will come, lead times etc. and that is a mass produced car!

Did anyone watch the Stelvio reveal at the Los Angles Motorshow?

I quite like the QV version. An SUV with 505bhp and sub 4s 0-60!!!

We really need to get the V8 into the Levante rather than just sticking with the V6. The new one from the QP would seem to do the job. The question is will it fit?

Went to see the UK car at HR Owen Manchester this morning. Really impressed with it. It is a significant step up in quality over the Ghibli which I don't think is at all shoddy either.

These 20" wheels don't really fill the arches but was told this is because the car is on a higher air suspension setting at the moment.

That does look very nice but I don't like the style of those wheels at all, regardless of their size

Mine is arriving at the dealer on the 5th of December. Approx 4 weeks late. Should pick up shortly after.
