A common fault with the ABS system are the pickup rings on the hubs. Thats where I would start if I was you.

Oh, and if you do it Nick, can you take some pics and do a how to?

On the original subject of this thread i appear to have oil leaking from the left hand turbo, i presume the oil seals cannot be replaced? Does this mean i need a replacement turbo unit? any one messed about with the turbos? are there any serviceable parts? any advice welcome!

The turbochargers are manufactured by IHI, their name is RMF5B (if your car is a 3200 GT). There are different part numbers for right and left units.

I hope to swap mine out for a pair of upgraded chargers in a not too distant future.

Most likely you just have a leak from one of the oil lines. It would be very rare for a turbo to leak oil. If you're blowing blue smoke out the exhaust on idle or on boost then look at changing a turbo.

I've only flicked through the service manual, but the oil lines look like flexi braided with banjo fittings, they may have just worked lose?
