Does anyone know if all Maserati service records are held centrally?

im trying to find some early service history on a car. It started life in Manchester so I would assume HR Owen Manchester. Are there any other local Maserati dealers in and around the Manchester area? I know the car ended up in Hartlepool so just trying to see which service locations I should contact.

I would have expected maserati dealer service history to be searchable by any of them. Just did the same for my recently sold Audi as book went walkabout and the replacement merc as I had no paperwork as all in car memory.

Don't expect much help from Maserati. They are likely to tell you yes or no to any questions but actually getting copies has always been a challenge as they sight data protection.

Right or wrong, but they still refuse to assist.

I wrote to the dealers and offered a donation to charity - I got the invoices with the previous owners details blanked out

Invoices are private to the dealer/servicer and vehicle owner at the time - so not centralised at Maserati GB. You’ll need to contact the dealers operating at that time, so check the list from the period that is relevant to your car and contact them all. Even with sensitive data redacted, you’ll be able to prove MD servicing (if it took place).

My MB service records prointed today just show date, car, miles, which service, dealer and what was done. No prices or owner name. You would think they would hold that stuff.

There are very few Maserati MD service centers in the UK (maybe 20 or so?) so even if you called them all, it wouldn't take you long. They should instantly be able to tell you whether or not they’ve seen your car, and then if they have, you can send them a copy of your V5 (to prove ownership) and they should then release to you the (redacted and data-safe) records.

How old is the car? HR Owen have been there 3 years. Prior to that the NW dealer was Bowker Ribble Valley who are no longer (2014-17) and prior to that Stratstone who were Brook St Manchester, and moved briefly to Handforth next to Porsche & Ferrari. Autoshield in Manchester are also the North’s independent.

Excellent info. The car is an old one, 2008 so ore dates HR Owen. I’ll try the other 2. I would imagine stratstone or auto shield should have something.

Stratstone are no longer Maserati and they have moved so you’d be lucky. Autoshield don’t keep computer records but if Marios recalls the car he will let you know.

I tried to get info on a service, and other work carried out at the same time, non Maserati. I was told yes it was done and what was done but due to data protection I could not have a copy. Just made do with the email and stuck it in the folder.

This is exactly what happened! Spoke to stratstone, only Ferrari now and no details. My local dealer told me the car was looked after by stratstone Manchester until 2011. I have emailed Maserati directly and they will give me what they have but I need to send them my v5 to prove ownership. I’ll see how it goes! The car has been looked after somewhere else other than the dealer since 2011 so my next option will be to see where it was MOTd each year and hope the work was done there.
