To Maserati 3200 or 4200...Has anyone used motor oil 20w60 Motul?

Almost nabbed a couple of litres of Shell Helix 5-40 when I was working away and the Ferrari 488 challenge race cars were there. If they use it on the race cars, (Turbo'd), id imagine its more than up to the job on our road cars.

Not only was the engine constructed 25 years ago. Petronas, the "Oil Sopnsor" atthat time, only had Selenia Racing in their program for racing oils. The Turbochargers are water-cooled an the oil-cooler on the 3200 GT is huge. No need for such a high viscosity.
Using Motul 15W-50 from the beginning and driving Italian (heat) and German (speed) highways.

caveat emptor - with 3200 engines. Personally I am happy to stick with the original OEM slippery stuff. have zero appetite to let the thread drift let alone float (end).

I do happen to have 10 litres in my garage too.
