Tinted windows - removing?

My QP has rear tinted windows and I wish they were clear. I thought I would have to replace the glass (one day when I find a money tree), but somone said that they were almost certainly films and could be removed. Does anyone know if this is right / possible?

Mine was same, rear screen and rear door glass pimp black. Had it removed day one, no idea how he did it but rear heater filament still intact and working. Chap in Dublin did it when I was living there. Raheny, where half of Boyzone came from...

It's normally just a film on the inside of the glass any glass / tint company should be able to remove it. I think you just need a heat sources to soft the adhesive (hair dryer), it could even be a DIY job.,
