That’s just called ‘character’ isn’t it :D

The plasterer who did my folks old cottage after it got flooded said it was the most difficult thing he has to do; get plaster to not be straight but not look shite at the same time.

good tiler will charge £35 to £40 per sqm and includes the adhesive and grout, this is labour only, im finding everyone thinks they're a tiler these days, bit like everyone thinks they can do flat roofs simply by looking at a few youtube videos, a lot more cowboy trades around these days and multitrades that are shite at everything

As a Skilled Qualified Technician with many years experience and a fortune spent on my tools that really boils my pîss.

I got my bro to agree to do for me for his normal daily rate - which is a bargain cos he seriously undervalues himself. Bet he won't take tho at the end.

Just need to find tiles we like and shît tho he gets massive trade discounts so might let him sort that too......

Tiling in my B&B hallway. Floor was neither flat nor straight (built 1878).. tilers did a brilliant job. We had 2 part tiles left over plus planned 5 spare. On occasion professionals are worth paying for!
