Back to EVO....In the Turbo piece they talk about teh good the bad and the ugly turbo cars and they mention the Maserati Bi turbo they say....

This was Maserati trying to build a 3 series but not getting the point. All versions had a strange 90deg twin turbo V6, some had knife-edge handling and all were disastrously thristy. very quick when wastegate jammed shut.............

..................original nightmare cars....pity they wore a Maserati badge......................lowest period for design and execution for Maserati..................or how many others were there, given the number of take overs and baleouts they had over 90 odd years?

Yes, not the best time for Maserati but out of it came a few crackers at the end...Ghibli and Shamal...

...maybe in design concept....but not so much in execution...or the new direction Maserati took when run by Ferrari

3200 has a bi turbo engine yes.....but they sort of distance them selves form the old school when Ferrari took over....

Meridien.......they had sole rights in teh UK......Can not remember the guys name who owned Meridien..A balding chap...But he took over in this country when the laterBi Turbo Spyders came out..Remember seeing him stood next to one in Performance car with the number plate TOY something..Think they still own it.

i dont know Dem, 6 letter plate, should not be too much. I know one guy who has C3 TOY on his car, think he said it was £800.
