Van Der Graaf Generator, King Crimson, Peter Hammill, Peter Gabrielle era Genesis, Camel, ELP, Rick Wakeman, Deep Purple, Rush, Hawkwind, Yes. - Ahh, the (alcohol fuddled) memories. Proper self-indulgent egotistic musical adventures, and you know what; Prog is back!

Ah Andy I see you lean to the rock rather than the prog and yes Thin Lizzy are scandalously overlooked nowadays, truly a great band that got lost in the mist of punk and then electronica.

Seen them around 6 times and great live..Phil Lynott was a stunning song writter..Great band. Now he is up there playing in the greatest band ever....Lynott, Hendrix,

Seen then 6 times and they were great live..Phil Lynott was a great song writter and vastly under rated.

I see a new thread coming on Andy - your 60s/70s supergroup from heaven.

Try this for starters:

Lead guitar: Hendrix
Bass: John Entwhistle
Drums: J Bonham
Vocals: John Lennon
