I don't get all this talk of a supposed rise in used car prices. I'm seeing some astounding bargains, and at these prices there's something for everyone...That's because of the 'rise in the used car market'... Hence the thread.

I'll take it off you for 35, John. 'owd out yer 'aand, you've got yerself a baargin'.As a couple have recently sold their GTs to WBAC at prices they are very happy with, I thought I would put my 780 mile 2011 Stradale in and see what popped out - £33K! Hmmm, the car is not for sale of course but their algorithms can do one in this case anyway
Doesn't delineate what a Strad is to be fair.I'll take it off you for 35, John. 'owd out yer 'aand, you've got yerself a baargin'.
I know it's a quick way to sell, but a forum member may have been prepared to offer you what you got from WBAC rather than feeding the monster.
I am sure the eagle eyed, @MarkMas , will spot its appearance on the market in due course
How much has Phil slipped you?!!No thanks, had too many tyre kickers in the past and people expecting the Earth of cars etc.. the joy for me is to take it down there, let them give me a value and then walk home. Done deal, easy, effortless. Will be doing the same with another car this coming week too. I think people knew the car was for sale so they have plenty of chance to come to me with an offer!
It’s a funny one. Some cars have appreciated hugely, say around 20-25% such as SQ5’s, Macans, Vanquishes and GT Sports. Most cars have edged up a little, say 5%, lots haven’t changed at all. I’ve already noticed that those models that have gone up too much are already on their way back down.I don't get all this talk of a supposed rise in used car prices. You have to figure in a LHD Supra TT Manual is very very very very rare. Most were autos - it was a big soft GT to begin with after all - and the vast majority of the world’s stock is RHD. Add in low miles and the scene around them, it’s not a surprise. The USA 25 year old car import rules are what have driven the massive increase in prices of Supras, GTRs etc.

I think he means Schof who is the face of WBAC

I agree, Vanquishes were undervalued in my opinion, as were the other models I mentioned. That is key to why they’ve gone up so far over the course of the summer. The dealer whom I sold my Vanquish to for a 13% profit has just sold it for a £6k profit within 3 weeks of holding it in stock! I think they were undervalued at £70k, even if it wasn't to my taste.
