Well it's that or put a cushion on the seat. I will take the hard ride option thanks.

Sounds like you need to sell up and buy a Citroen Mark. Hydraulic cushion suspension for those who don't like the sport button. ;)

I like the Sport button - a lot - when I am going briskly, but it is still a tad hard. And if I am in 'lazy cruise' mindset, then Sport is too much (and very fuel-hungry), and non-Sport is too soft.

It's done the tramlining thing particularly badly on brand new Pirelli PZeroes and on crappy old (as it turned out) Pirelli Sottozeroes. Best has been brand new Pirelli Sottozeroes (previous QPV). Right now I am on newish Michelins with Matt having replaced most of the suspension in April, and it is tramlining a bit, but not so much.
The Sottozeroes are winter tyres so can’t speak for them as never tried them. I put on the PZ4s which are their latest generation of summer Tyres and it resolved my tramlining. So I’m guessing your core tramlining issue isn’t tyre related but mechanical. The tyres may be magnifying/alleviating the core problem.

Mine was no more thirsty in sport although I was always in manual and not leaving it to the box to hold the gear to 3000+. On normal driving I was probably shifting as if it was in normal.
