Exactly too many keyboard warriors out there not brave enough to spend the money.Ar5e has he ever driven one?
Still does!
I've had a recent flurry of interest which may or may not come to anything. In the meantime I've decided to try the Collecting Cars site. My experience so far with them is positive, photographer came last week to take loads of high quality photos. I'm selling to free up some extra cash for a property purchase, so the way I'm looking at it the car will fetch +£15k on the sale price due to the stamp duty holiday.
What's the link to the CC site?
Lol. Excited glances. On the ferry it definetly wasn’t excited glances. People were running for their lives.2005 MASERATI GRANSPORT
Making it a treat for both the eyes and ears, its rare Giallo Granturismo paintwork and enhanced exhaust system will ensure it attracts excited glances wherever it goes.collectingcars.com
I can’t understand the logic of some of the sale prices achieved on collecting cars, but it does seem to drag good prices out of the market. A 23k mile Mk2 Golf GTI just sold on there for £19750, so £21k with fees. The same car had been languishing unsold on Autotrader for the past year or so at £21k or near offer.
I spoke to them about selling my 2007 GS LE - they said I could set the reserve as I wished, but suggested a £17k reserve to encourage interest. I sold it privately within a few weeks for more than that but under £20k. Given it was a lovely car and well priced it was more hassle than I expected though, and I had to deal with a few timewasters to find a buyer.
It's a beautiful car in every way. Almost embarrassingly immaculate and should embarrass any brand new car in a showroom. Whoever buys it will be very happy.
Unless they're in any way shy, of course.
